Romance & Light Series: Romantic Nightstand in Chalk Paint

This week I introduced you to a special client series I've titled, "Romance & Light".  The first piece in the project was a gorgeous dresser, which you can learn more about here.  Today I'm very Happy to reveal the second piece in the series, a pretty nightstand transformation with which I'm very pleased.

Here are the befores:

Again, after working in the client's wishes of fresh white and soft distress, the piece was given an extra special touch by removing the cabinet doors to offer an open area underneath for storage and display.

Those old hardware holes were easily blended into the piece using wood filler along with a good sanding. 

The piece was again finished with a clear furniture wax and buffed to perfection.  The hardware was given new shine with a light application of Rub n Buff.
